A Town That Was Dealt A Bad Hand In it's hay day, the small town of San Antonio, New Mexico boasted a population of around 1250. Over the years, a series of natural disasters and unfortunate world events has left the town with barely 100 residents.
To quote the late Kenny Rogers, "Know when to walk away, know when to run". Preface A short story inspired by the Aokigahara Jukai "Sea Of Trees" forest in Japan. Also known as the "suicide forest", something about this place beckons to people who are ready to give up. This story is about one such person. Lensball Photography The Lensball shows a different view of the world and in the midst of our current collective situation known as COVID19, I think we could all benefit by taking a moment to see things from an alternate perspective.
San Acacia is not a ghost town I went to San Acacia because I found it in a book about New Mexico's ghost towns. What the author failed to mention is that San Acacia not a ghost town at all.
