La Ladera Rd. Peralta, New Mexico
Most people come out to see the fall colors but I think the real beauty starts in the winter. For the last few years I have been stopping the car on the way to wherever I'm going to take pictures of trees and creating these collections of images aptly named "Winter Trees".
Sunsets From The Hottest Month Of The Year
Continuing on with my year-in-review project, these are my best sunset photos from August 2019. While it's no secret that August in New Mexico can be like the 5th ring of hell, with temperatures routinely reaching triple digits, it is also the height of monsoon season and the New Mexico sky delivers a non-stop show of spectacular color that never disappoints.
Midsummer Sunsets in Meadow Lake, New Mexico
Continuing with my year-in-review project of New Mexico skies, these are my best sunset photos as seen from my back yard in Meadow Lake, New Mexico. The New Mexico Skies never disappoint with lots of big clouds during monsoon season and the breathtaking sunsets just keep on comin'!
Spirits In The Trees
There's something about Cottonwood Trees in the winter. Mostly without leaves, the Cottonwood's true character shines through. Gnarly and twisted, each of them is possessed of it's own ancient spirit and no two are alike.
The Half Way Point
Continuing on with my year-in-review project, the spectacular New Mexico skies just keep on comin'. These are my best sunset photos, as seen from my back yard in Meadow Lake, New Mexico, from June of 2019!
