This September, I'm bringing Dry Heat Photography's family portrait mini sessions to Las Conchas Trailhead for one special day of beautiful, relaxed family photography in one of New Mexico's most spectacular settings.
This isn't a studio. It isn't a backdrop.
It's your family, together, in the mountains.
Fall Family Mini Sessions on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Las Conchas Trailhead in the Jemez Mountains from 8:30 to 12:30.
What's Included
30-minute family portrait session
We'll spend 30 minutes photographing your family throughout the beautiful Las Conchas setting.
15–20 Finished Images
You'll receive 15–20 professionally retouched, high-resolution digital photographs in a private online gallery.
Print Release
Your session includes a print release, so you can print and enjoy your photographs for your home and family.
A One-of-a-Kind Location
Instead of a typical Albuquerque portrait location, your photographs will feature the natural beauty of the Jemez Mountains.
Professional Experience
I've been photographing families and creating portraits professionally for decades. My goal isn't simply to pose your family—it is to create photographs that capture the connection between you.
Other Info: Each 30 minute session is $250 + tax. Sessions are designed for families of up to four people. Larger families and extended families are welcome to reserve two consecutive time slots so we have plenty of time for everyone.
Because these sessions require additional planning, travel, and limited-date availability, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance will be invoiced separately and is due one week prior to your scheduled session date. We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel more than 72 hours before your session, your deposit may be applied toward another session booked within 12 months. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the session date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Las Conchas Trailhead in Jemez Springs has rough and rugged terrain. There are no sidewalks or access ramps. This location may not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues.
